The novel GENIUS procedure by Lutronic combines two successful treatment methods for skin tightening and smoothing: microneedling and radiofrequency. Microneedling radiofrequency therapy stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin with pinpoint accuracy and sustainably optimises the skin structure. The skin becomes visibly firmer and tighter, fine lines are filled from the depths.
Radiofrequency microneedling is suitable for all skin types. The procedure can be used for treatments on the face, neck, décolleté, arms and abdomen, knees and thighs.
Especially in the case of acne, acne scars, melasma and stretch marks, this therapy promises visible success by resulting in a tightening and rejuvenation of the skin and thus to a refinement of the skin’s appearance.
First, the skin is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and make-up. This is followed by a local anaesthetic using a cream or a small injection and disinfection of the affected skin areas.
Then gold-plated microneedles conduct thermal energy into the skin. Here, the radiofrequency waves and the finest micro-penetrations stimulate intensive collagen- and elastin-forming fibroblast activity. Throughout the procedure the hyaluronic acid content of the skin also increases measurably, resulting in a visibly better moisturised skin.
At the end of the 60- to 90-minute treatment, the aftercare is carried out with highly concentrated serums, soothing cream and sunscreen.
The number of treatments as well as the depth of the micro-penetrations are individually tailored to your skin condition and your treatment goal. If desired or required, the result can be optimised with an accompanying therapy. This includes injections such as fillers, skin boosters and an autologous blood therapy via vampire lifting.
The cost of radiofrequency microneedling in our practice starts from 800 Euros per treatment.
