The use of high-energy laser light is one of the most innovative technologies in modern medicine. In dermatology, the safe use of lasers has significantly increased and made the safe treatment of skin diseases and undesirable skin patterns such as acne, age spots, birthmarks and warts possible. In addition, the laser beams are excellent for hair reduction treatment.
Acne is one of the skin diseases that can cause a significant reduction in quality of life. Such skin changes on the face can occur not only during puberty, but at any age. We would like to help you overcome the disease and your suffering so that you feel comfortable in your own skin again.
Scars can appear after an operation, an injury, an accident or as a result of skin diseases. The more prominent the scars are, the more they are perceived as a burden and a restriction of the quality of life. Laser medicine can visibly reduce scars on the skin.
Pigment spots such as freckles, moles, age spots and birthmarks are all brownish discolourations of the skin. Although the spots are almost always harmless from a medical point of view, those people affected often find them unsightly and disturbing. We can laser your pigment spots and remove them.
A typical feature of couporosis is conspicuous redness over a large area due to visible, burst red veins on the skin. These occur mainly in the cheek and nose area as well as in the cleavage area. Intense laser light is able to obliterate the fine veins and helps the body subsequently to break them down naturally.
Vascular dilatations include port-wine stains, spider veins, haemangiomas, telangiectasias, angiofibromas and rosacea. All of these skin conditions are suitable for laser therapy. The finest vascular dilatations can be treated successfully and gently at the same time.
Smooth, youthful and soft skin is considered a beauty standard. But over time, the natural ageing process kicks in for everyone. In addition, the skin is stressed by factors such as UV radiation, stress and an unbalanced diet. Gentle skin rejuvenation by using laser therapy reduces wrinkles and restores elasticity and tone of your skin.
As desirable as full hair is for men and women on the head, for many people it is undesirable in other places: Laser beams can stop hair growth on the face, under the armpits, in the genital area, on arms and legs, on the back or on the chest by destroying the hair roots.
Dr Mek is the best skin and aesthetics doctor I have ever had. Super nice, empathetic and a lot of expertise! She knows what she is doing. Will go to her again and again

In addition, laser technology can be used in medicine for many other aesthetic and cosmetic treatments:
Treatment always begins with a detailed specialist examination, a diagnosis and the creation of an individual therapy plan. All treatments are also preceded by a comprehensive education of our patients where we discuss the exact procedure and the expected results with you in detail. Fundamentally, we attach great importance to the results looking naturally and highlighting your natural looks.
The word LASER is actually an abbreviation and stands for “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation”.
Laser beams are bundled light beams with a particularly high-energy. During treatment they are directed at a certain part of the body or skin to achieve the desired effect.
The different tissue components of the skin layers (water, haemoglobin, melanin, pigments etc.) absorb light with different wavelengths to a greater or lesser extent. This produces the desired effect on the affected area.
Another major advantage is that it has little effect on the surrounding tissue, making it ideal for selective treatment of specific areas of the skin.

One treatment takes about 45 minutes. The number of necessary sessions depends on the goal of the treatment. However, often just a few sessions are sufficient to achieve the desired outcome. The full effect is seen about 2 to 4 weeks after the last session.
The laser beam on the skin is described by most patients as not very painful, a local anaesthetic usually isn’t necessary . However, we do of course offer to apply an anaesthetic cream before the treatment.
The application of the laser causes redness, slight swelling or small scabs on the treated area. However, these usually disappear after 14 days at the latest, usually much earlier.
In the first three days after a laser session, you should apply a high-quality skin care product without additives. Furthermore, refrain from strenuous activities that cause you to sweat, as sweat can burn the treated area.
In addition, you should protect the treated skin area from strong sunlight with sun cream (sun protection factor 50) for the first 6 weeks after the treatment. Solarium visits and self-tanning lotions must also be avoided during this time.
The costs for a session start at 200 Euros. In many cases, the treatment costs are covered by private health insurance. Please clarify this directly with your health insurance.
